Your favorite Video game Characters

I like to think that all these bots are posting just for the one-liners I write as reasons for banning them.

Marina Liteyears: Mischief Makers: shes a robotic maid with super strength and peg legs! Oh and she knows how to beat down evil robots.

I like all the basics: Link is my favorite alongside Mario, Samus, and many others.

There are a few others that I like from games I am not sure if anyone here has played.

Will and Ark are a couple. Has anyone played Illusion of Gaia for the SNES? The main character's name is Will, and his personality is portrayed pretty realistically for a character in a 16-bit game. There is also Ark from Terranigma, a spiritual sequel to Illusion of Gaia. He is funny but not complex.

Professor Layton is a great character. No one else can come off as a badass by simply solving logic puzzles. Plus, you have to love his voice.

Megaman Zero is a pretty cool character. He does not seem that deep, but if you have played the Megaman Zero Series, you may think otherwise.

I think I finally have a legitimate list, probably.

1. Dante (Devil May Cry) - He simply defines badass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6YMXXutxI8 Do I really need to say more?

2. Viewtiful Joe - Just a light-hearted easy-going regular guy that obtained cool superpowers. Pretty much every nerds dream right here.

3. Phoenix Wright - Another easy-going guy. Kind of a pushover who gets talked into things easily and I love his sarcasm. He's been through so much. Got betrayed by an evil ex that tried to kill him, lost his mentor, and loses his childhood friend Edgeworth for years. Yet these events helped shape him as a person. He's a noble defense attorney who would never turn his back on an innocent person being wrongly accused.

4. Jak (Jak & Daxter) - He's a tough guy. He's kind of a douche though not without warrant being that so many characters tend to patronize him at first. He doesn't take crap from anyone and he loves blasting enemies to bits when he acquires new guns. Also he's always loyal to his mouthy little Ottsel friend Daxter.

5. Jade (Beyond Good & Evil) - Another loyal character who's been through a lot. Despite pretty much losing all hope and everyone she cares for at one point, she still stands tall, pulls herself together and continues the fight for a better tomorrow.

1. James Sunderland - Silent Hill 2
He is just such an interesting and intricate personality, I love playing through Silent Hill 2 every single time mostly because of that.

2. Gordon Freeman - Half Life series
Do I have to explain myself? Gordon is one of the most awesome TRULY silent protagonists, even the NPC's comment on his stoicness. I love him to death, just because he doesn't need to speak, to be awesome. Plus, I have a feeling he is not who he seems to be. Why can't Episode 3 come any sooner?

3. Link - The Legend of Zelda
No matter what game, Link is always an interesting courageous little boy, not affraid to get his clothes dirty to save the world he lives in. He isn't a truly silent protagonist, but I don't give two shits about that, he is awesome!
