Let's all take a moment of silence and remember the Gamecube.

Systems such as the N64 may be behind us, but you can talk about the old Nintendo systems here.

You're reading it wrong. Some of the posts before my were ranking the Prime series games, that's all I was doing at the end there.

Oh the GC saw many great titles.
It was truly an underrated console.

I played Super Smash Bros. Melee from 2001 until 2008.
WWE games were awesome on this console too with Day of Reckoning and it's sequel.

Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin and sequel, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker & Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 0 & 4, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, StarFox: Assault, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Viewtiful Joe, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Animal Crossing are just a small amount of the awesome titles the GC housed.

It also saw great remakes of classic titles like Sonic Adventures 2 Battle, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and the original Resident Evil.

How can anyone forget about the little purple lunch box that brought so many classic titles to the table.
Just impossible.

There's tons of genuinely great games on the Cube. It was my favorite system last gen.

Me too. Missed out on most of them. My Gamecube experiences all comes from playing it at a friend's house.
So I got to play some good stuff (Wind Waker), but most of the games were out of my reach.

The Cube was awesome! Metroid Primes, Super Mario Sunshine, Eternal Darkness, Wind Waker, Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, Beyond Good and Evil, Tales Of Symphonia, Ikaruga, F-Zero GX, Super Smash Bros. Melee, talk about an over-looked and under-rated system.

I don't know why so many people criticize the GameCube. It definitely wasn't a terrible console.

While dozens of its games were epic classics, what recieved most criticism was the hardware.
While it was the console capable of the better graphics, it didn't really brought anything new to
the table apart from more of the same.
All Nintendo consoles bring something groundbreaking that revolutionize the way we play games.
But the Game Cube was the bastard child in this category.
And to make it worst, for some reason, Nintendo decided to make the system's cds smaller.
Further making it less capable over its competition.

But even with all the limitations, the Cube managed to create as much classics as ever.
