Navi has no personality whatsoever, not sure why you'd pick her over Fi unless you really hated Fi a lot.

Guys, guys, we all know the best "helper" character is Ezlo from Minish Cap.

Maybe the reason I got Navi there is because OoT is the 1st 3d Zelda game and it seemed to be the right thing to do. I took into context my first playthrough of the game way back then. Navi isn't annoying either way because she really appeared to be a partner (i.e. hovering around the enemy during Z targeting). My first playthrough of SS and I already found Fi annoying during my first visit to Faron forest. She usually appears to say obvious stuff or in cutscenes and you can't skip that sound she makes when she wants to state the obvious.

I just feel like Navi is a more endearing character than Fi. Fi had zero personality whatsoever (well, except for the end maybe). At least Navi had some charm!

I really like Midna, but I hate the way she took center stage while the hero chosen by the gods was left out.
Most noticeable was the scene where they encounter Ganondorf for the first time. It was an atrocity to see Link's
nemesis not even direct his attention to him.

Navi, I'll always say it, was like the perfect companion.
And Fi is pretty awesome, but she talks too much.

I can't understand why anyone would say Navi was annoying and then say that Fi wasn't.

Probably only me, but I would love an online game where your can play as the supporting characters from the Zelda series, like Tingle, Fi, Navi, Midna and so on..

Moving around with the wiimote is annoying.
