I like both, a lot. Flying makes me smile every time, though I think the lack of an interesting space to fly around in dragged it down significantly. The swimming actually took me by surprise but I really liked it.

Swimming tends be somewhat awkward in every game. Hopefully Miyamotos new IP would be a water game... 'Teach your Baby to Paddle'.

I still wish there was an independant online Blitzball game.

I didn't have any issues with swimming. I do agree that flying is kinda boring though. Not bad, just boring.

I have one complaint about the last Boss, he came out of nowhere.

Take OoT, for example, you know that you have to defeat Ganondorf. You did all tha stuff to stop him, you want to destroy him. In SS, you battle Ghirasomething over the game. He is a 3 dimensional character with a unique personality but this "ultimate evil" is the last boss. I just think that having Ghiraguy as the last boss would have been better. Just give him some kind of "ultimate" form, like Ganon.

That was just a small rant, I know that they talk about the Imprisoned a couple of times during the game and I enjoy the final battle, Im just sharing :D

^ Yeah. Even though you've basically fought him several times through the form of The Imprisoned, the final battle just fell flat. Also, after knowing that Ghirahim was just a tool, meh. Ghirahim felt like a better character than Demise. However, IMO, the visuals during the final battle was god-tier, from the setting to the weather dynamics, animation, etc..

I do not think that Demise came out of nowhere. Ghirahim mentions throughout the game, from one of the first times you meet him, that he needs the Spirit Maiden to revive his master. You fight the Imprisoned for the first time around a third of the way through the game, and you learn that this is an evil you must stop. You know he is coming.

In Twilight Princess, on the other hand, you are not even told about Ganondorf as a threat until halfway through the game, and you do not even meet him face to face until the very end. It is all about Zant before that point, and I really wish he was the only villain. He is an awesome bad guy until you get to see his back story. Then he turns out to be a crybaby pushover.

I have to agree. Ultimately it was neat seeing Ganondorf in Twilight Princess, but it was very strange how they shoehorned him in at the last minute... I remember being upset about that.

Yeah, the final battle was pretty good.

Also, it seems like Nintendo makes the "dragon" characters suck at the last minute to make the real final guy cooler. Like Ghiraher and Zant.

I forgot to mention that I really like Groose. He was a fun character.

Man, I love the Ballad of the Goddess song so much. Still blows my mind that it's Zelda's Lullaby in reverse.

I'm gonna be completely honest here, but I didn't find the soundtrack in Skyward Sword to be all that memorable. Don't get me wrong, I didn't say it was bad, just not very memorable. The only exceptions I can think of are the Ballad of the Goddess, as you mentioned, Valay, Koloktos' boss theme, and, to an extent, Ghirahim's theme.

But thinking back on it, not a lot of the Zelda games had memorable music with some exceptions, like the main themes and boss themes. Ocarina of Time probably has the most memorable soundtrack with songs like Gerudo Valley and Saria's Song. Very few Zelda games tend to have memorable dungeon music. Except Stone Tower. Stone Tower's theme rocks.

I should reiterate that this is all just my opinion.

I love the Ballad of the Goddess!

I think every Zelda ST is great, some are better, of course. I agree, OoT has the most memorable ST. I also love the WW ST.

Spirit Tracks had a pretty great soundtrack. I am surprising no one is talking about its music too much. It was pretty amazing.

the problem with spirit tracks is that its portable and most people cant listen to the music out loud on the go.
