So, I know this thread is mega old and it's not really right to post on dead threads, but who all plays this game now a days still? I unfortunately didn't have funds to buy it and Wii had problems at the time when it came out and I forgot about the game, but I'm really interested in getting the game still. Just worried that it won't be active online that much anymore.

You can find games quite easily depending on the time of day you pay it at. I think after about 12am GMT is when everything gets really quiet. It can also be difficult to get a game if you are just starting off at a low level because of how long the game has been out for, everyone is a pretty high rank. If you're from Europe I can play with you my Hunter ID is in my signature. If not then I won't be able to as the servers are region locked sadly.

Yeah, I read about the regions being locked, whata shame. And I'm from the US.

Game's online community is still pretty active. Last time I checked, around 1000 players still play online (this is on a weekday, evening-US time). If you happen to stumble upon a character named Creed, that's probably me. :D

Is this your first MH Ron? MH3 is actually my first MH and I've already put almost a thousand hours in the game (online/offline). Prepare to get suckered in! ;)

Yes, this is my first MH. I'm kinda worried that I won't be able to get the game on Wednesday when I get paid cause I have to get essentials and pay some bills. Ughhhhhhhh. I want the game so bad!

I've been waiting for an excuse to bust out whatever lance I was using when I stopped playing the game, so that's at least one person on the EU server.

lol

I think the reason for this is that Capcom will be shutting down the Tri servers. Can't wait to use my jack-of-all-trades character.
