Sadly enough I don't think anything from Capcom (they did Minish Cap) or AlphaDream (Mario & Luigi series) will ever find its way into SSB canon :(

If you mean absolutely anything from those games, then you're wrong already as there is a Mario & Luigi song in Brawl.

But I assume you mean characters like Cackletta and Ezlo, in which case you'd probably be right.
