Link to the Past 3D Re-make possible?
November 11th, 2007 Posted in DS, News, Wii, Written by ValayIn a recent interview with Eiji Aonuma in the latest issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine, Mr. Aonuma considers the possibility of re-making Link to the Past with 3D graphics. While this is by no means a conformation of a re-make, it is interesting to know Mr. Aonuma is considering the posibility…
“Ocarina of Time was the first title I worked on, and I was continuously tackling challenges every day during its development, so I think this is the title I feel I impacted the most. I believe that experience made me what I am now. I always think about what we couldn’t do and what didn’t work well in the previous game when we start a new title, but there’s no game that I would want to actually change as such. I have to say though, the first Zelda game that I played and felt potential in was Link to the Past. I’m actually very interested in what it would be like if we remade that title as a 3D game.”
Also in the interview, Eiji Aonuma notes that he always is thinking about the next Zelda game, and that it is possible to create a visual style for Zelda that a player would never have imagined.

I really liked A Link to the Past so a 3D edition would be great. With the many innovative features that the Wii has it would be a good addition to be for that.
