Mr. Resetti “may be disturbing to young children”
December 9th, 2008 Posted in News, Wii, Written by ValayMr. Resetti is an occasionally annoying character that has appeared in all Animal Crossing titles, but no one would say that he could disturb anyone…Right? Well, Nintendo has issued a warning in the Animal Crossing: City Folk instruction booklet about Mr. Resetti, and believe it or not note that he “may be disturbing to young children.”
“It is important that players save before switching off the Wii console in order to retain data after each play session (see Saving Data, above). If players switch off without saving, the character Mr. Resetti may appear upon restarting. Mr. Resetti’s purpose is to teach players the importance of saving. However, parents should be aware that his personality and tone of voice, while intentionally humourous, are authoritative and may be disturbing to young children.”

Importance of saving? This is probably one of the best lessons you could teach your children! Horray for Mr. Resetti!

um it isn’t TOTALLY important to save like i mean IT’S A GAME and mr. ressetti shouldn’t be so rough to you…. I WONDER IF RESSETTI WOULD LIKE IT IF WE DISTURBED HIM LIKE THAT EVERY DAY. and… does HE save? i bet NO!
