Rumor: SEGA vs. Capcom title to be revealed at TGS
October 7th, 2008 Posted in DS, News, Written by ValayIf the latest rumors are to be believed, both Capcom and SEGA will reveal SEGA vs. Capcom: Great Clash Generation for the DS at TGS. The game would based as a “hybrid RPG-fighting game” with a release date scheduled for Q1 2009. The rumors also explain that SEGA would be the main developer alongside Dimps, with Capcom acting as a supervisor. The character roster is apparently unknown, though Mega Man and Sonic are expected to make an appearance. TGS begins this Thursday, so we’ll know if this rumor holds any weight soon enough.

So their going to put Mega Man into the fray….but I have to ask one thing…WHICH Mega Man?
Original? (1-9) X? (1-3, 4-8) Zero? (X, GBA 1-4, DS 1-2) ZX? (DS) EXE? (GBA 1-6) Starforce (DS 1-2)

@ wario – It’s a new game, I assume.
Not really sure about any other details other than what was mentioned. And remember, this is a rumor – It’s not confirmed, and this could end up being nothing at all. So just keep that in mind!

@Mewfii: If it’s like any old Vs. Capcoms, it’ll be the original Mega Man.
Otherwise they may try Star Forcin’ it. Star Force is the only Mega Man to not be in a fighting game…Sans X, I think. Trigger’s in Tatsunoko…

How on Earth does an RPG-Fighter work?
Anyways, I hope that if this is true, and that they do use the Classic Megaman (PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ), that they add some Robot Masters as playable characters (Shadowman PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ).
And hopefully, if it’s true, it’ll be a kickass game.
