Capcom “cautiously optimistic” with Mega Man 9 sales so far
October 4th, 2008 Posted in News, Wii, Written by ValayMega Man 9 officially launched on the PSN, XBLA, and WiiWare services a few days ago. There are not many sales figures to dissect as of yet since the game essentially just released, though Capcom is somewhat pleased with the numbers thus far. Said Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer/VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development, “Any numbers you’ve seen or quoted are not correct. That said, I think we’re cautiously optimistic about MM9’s performance.” This means that the 140,000 US downloads number is incorrect. At this time, it seems that Capcom is only aware well-aware of the game’s performance.
