Disaster gets first review, Famitsu rates the game highly
September 22nd, 2008 Posted in News, Wii, Written by ValayIt’s not typically an encouraging sign when a company hides their game from the press. Disaster: Day of Crisis has fallen down that path, but in this case, it doesn’t necessarily mean the game is terrible. Actually, based on the first review from Famitsu, Day of Crisis might be much better than the average game. The Disaster review, which can be read in the upcoming edition of Famitsu, includes a superb score of 34/40.
I’m not entirely supportive of the score since the same magazine also gave a perfect score to Nintendogs, although it’s definitely a step in the right direction. At least we assume that the game isn’t shovelware!

Technically, a “perfect” score in Famitsu is 4 perfect scores as I think they have 4 different people rate the game and take the total of those 4. I could be wrong.

Did people actually think it was shovelware?
I’ve been interested in this game since it’s announcement.

Like I said, not trying to be a fanboy, 360 has halo 3, gears, etc. Wii has SSBB, MkWii, etc. but don’t hate on the PS3 :/
