de Blob sequel coming in fiscal 2011

“Our de Blob franchise will be back again in fiscal 2011. We successfully launched this highly-rated franchise in fiscal 2009 to broad, critical acclaim.” – THQ president and CEO Brian Farrell

This news isn’t too surprising, as THQ said last year that they were happy with the sales performance of de Blob. It hasn’t been confirmed if the sequel will be another Wii-exclusive, but let’s hope so!

    Still need to finish the first, but enjoying that, so I’ll keep an eye out for it. Especially since a lot of other 3rd party devs seem to be dropping support =/

    Ive been slowly playing the first one since it came out, along with other good games, play one a bit here and there, fill in the gaps with golf and so on. Ill be done with it in time for the sequel hehe.

    de Blob was quite fun. I’m curious to see what they do with the sequel.
