Out of all the games that went on sale on Thursday in Japan, only Professor Layton and the Devil’s Flute is the most impressive, selling approx. 140,000 copies in its first day. Since Famitsu and Media Create record sales from November 23rd through the 29th, the latest Layton game has three more days to make a good sales impression. Any game that sales over 100K copies in Japan is considered a “hit” there.
