Aonuma would have liked MotionPlus available for Twilight Princess
November 21st, 2009 Posted in News, Wii, Written by ValayBoth Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma have stated countless times that the next Zelda game will incorporate Wii MotionPlus. Twilight Princess, however, simply utilized the capabilities of the Wii remote and nothing more. In an interview with GameSpot, Aonuma discussed the peripheral and said that he wishes MotionPlus was available a long time ago, perhaps so that the development team could have implemented the technology in Twilight Princess.
“All I can say right now is that, yes, we are well in the progress in development right now and as Mr. Miyamoto has already stated, we are going to use the Wii MotionPlus. It’s actually perfectly matched…I wish we could have gotten that a long time ago. Even when we look at Twilight Princess right now, we have to feel that we should have that kind of Wii MotionPlus. It was that natural feeling we have already established in development. So I hope that people are going to be looking forward to the launch.”

Well this is nice to hear; even though I’ve always liked Twilight Princess the way it is with it’s simple control scheme!

And yes; they need to stop teasing us & shut up right now; for we have all 2010 to wait for the next Zelda… as badly I’m anxiously awaiting for it to be announced at next E3! I mean IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!
If not releasing in 2010; we’re doomed to wait 2 years until 2011! :’(
