Swordplay in Zelda Wii has “become very natural” with MotionPlus
November 19th, 2009 Posted in News, Wii, Written by Valay“We’re taking advantage of MotionPlus. It’s become very natural – the movement of your arms is precisely reflected in the gameplay. Thanks to the technological advancements, we hope the gameplay can be more accessible to people.” – Eiji Aonuma
Aonuma also talked about the structure of Zelda Wii once again and provided a response similar to what we posted yesterday…
“We’re making efforts regarding the total flow of the Zelda game. So far, the basic flow of the Zelda games is you’re exploring a field, you go to a dungeon, you conquer it and return to the field. We’re looking at altering that traditional flow. That’s all I can share, and I can’t say more until E3 next year.”

Quick question:
Everybody is interested in how Motion Plus will be implemented on the new Zelda.
Why no other publisher (aside from Ubisoft) has shown ANY idea on Motion Plus Swordplay…
Or any other Motion Plus use, for the matter?

Yea they need more motion plus stuff. Even some wiiware games would be nice.
Great news tho that it will be at e3 and that motion plus is confirmed for the sword, but will it be required to play the game?
I hope the zelda structure hasnt changed too much. I know when it comes out, I will do the same thing I did when twilight came out, get some fancy booze and a giant 3ft sandwich and not leave the house for 3 days.

I’m with you, opiumx. Innovation is fine and good, but at the end of the day, I say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
And I can only hope that when you say “twilight”, you mean Twilight Princess…
