New Namco Bandai RPG revealed early
November 18th, 2009 Posted in DS, News, Written by ValayNamco Bandai will officially open their site for the RPG they’ve been teasing the past few days. Although, it looks like the game has revealed earlier than expected. V-Jump apparently had the scoop on the company’s newest project, Digimon Stories: Lost Evolution. That’s rather surprising (and perhaps disappointing as well), since many initially assumed that the title was either a Baten Kaitos, Xengosaga, or Tales sequel. Gameplay details from the magazine have yet to be shared, but at least the guessing game is finally over!

I would not have my hopes on a Digimon game as it would be inferior to the main Pokemon games. I am quite disappointed that it was not a Tales of game.

Well i played through all the Ds titles and liked all of them. Befor then there hasn’t been a good Digimon game since RA2. I’am 40h through tales of the aybss now and completed Vesperia some time ago. I had no idea about rumours going around or that Namco was about to announce a new Rpg at all. If not a new Digimon Ds game (something along the lines of World DS) then tales would’ve been great. But i kept thinking to myself these digimon Ds games have been sucessful and good except for that championship garbage. My point is, if the tales game was going to a Ds one and not a next gen Vesperia 360 spin off then I would’ve went without it. Because Vesperia was amzing and because it is on next-gen systems. I’am sure we will see a new tales but after FF13 dies down a bit. Thats a hard RPG to drag attention away from. All and all I’am happy I think people hoping for a new Xenosaga or w/e that is were getting their hopes way up. Good job Namco. Juts deliver and give fans evolution lines they expect and want. And make the powers more individual.
