Warning: There may be some details in this post that some could consider spoiler details

- Demon King and spirits of Hyrule battled, spirits won out and chained the Demon King underground, chains became tracks for transportation in Hyrule
- Zelda dies early on
- Link is able to see her spirit
- Link receives his Royal Engineer rank at Zelda’s castle at the beginning of the game
- Zelda gives Link a note which cautions Link against Chancellor Cole, asks Link to meet her
- Zelda asks Link to help escape the castle to discuss Chancellor Cole/Spirit Tracks which have been disappearing
- Then gain control of Link (who just received the green tunic so that he wouldn’t be recognized) and Zelda
- Come across Master Engineer Alfonzo, who trained Link and was a part of the Hyrulian arm
- Link/Zelda/Alfonzo ride the train to the Spirit Tower, but the tracks disappear, the train crashes and Cole attacks the gang
- Zelda’s spirit then rips out of her body, Cole takes Alfonzo and Zelda’s body (Cole hopes to use Zelda’s body to bring back the Demon King)
- Link has somehow returned to the castle, Zelda’s spirit is there, and Link is the only one who can see the spirit
- After Zelda gives Link the sword and you go through training, Link/Zelda go to the Spirit Tower
- Go through the Spirit Tower to obtain the Stone Maps and bring back the Spirit Tracks
- A sage is the only one who is keeping the tower together
- Tears of Light allows Link to stun Phantoms so that Zelda can enter them
- Skip portions of the Tower that you’ve cleared previously
- To roll, tap the screen
- Zelda in Spirit Tracks is a descendant of Tetra
- Need to blow in to the DS microphone to use the Whirlwind item
- When Zelda is a Phantom, she can distract other Phantoms/enemies for you

Ooooooooooh ******* ****. Every Zelda gamester with some knowledge of Japanese knows that Demon King = Ganon. See, in the original Japanese games, Ganon is not the Evil King / Prince of Darkness, but the Demon King / Fiendlord. There’s an off-chance that this is another Demon King, but that’s not likely at all. So… If Spirit Tracks takes place over a hundred years after Phantom Hourglass… Nintendo has a lot of explaining to do. Maybe the events of “The Imprisoning War Redux” won’t be a game, but… Argh, my head hurts just thinking about it.

I really hope Ganondorf is in it :D

I’m guessing the Spirit Tower is this game’s version of the Temple of the Ocean King. No big deal, but it’ll piss some people.

Wait, if only Link can see Zelda, who was she talking to when she said “Me? Go with him?”
    /lookingtoofarintothings :p

    @Gavin

Well maybe not, since it says you can skip parts you’ve already done. I think what most people didn’t like about Ocean King temple was that you had to keep doing the same parts over and over.

    @ReturnofGannon

It probably is Ganon(dorf). They’ll think up some excuse for him being there.

Ganon is like Ridley; no matter how many times you kill him, he always comes back.

…Holy crap, I just posted three times in a row. silly me :o

“- Zelda in Spirit Tracks is a descendant of Tetra”

Wasn’t Tetra just a disguise of the WW Zelda?
So this Zelda really is actually a descendant of the WW Zelda.

@ Gavin – Yep, the Spirit Tower is the equivilent of the Temple of the Ocean King.

@ Hejiru – The sage might be the only other person who can see Zelda, but that’s it. The sage is probably the one who tells Zelda to go with Link. Also, you’re right. With the stairs/elevator, you won’t have to go through things again and again.

@ IronROB – That’s right, although they’re technically the same people!

Oooh, so it’s not the same Link and Zelda from WW/PH? Very cool!

Well Zelda DIES thats new!I am actually looking forward to this game!

Just orded the Tin-Box limited Edition for 32 € from the UK!

My main concerns with this game are:

    It needs Ganondorf.
The dungeons each need their own distinct theme. The first three on PH looked exactly the same :(
Link’s train needs to fly like the one at the end of Back to the Future III. Oh, it should be capable of time travel too.

Sorry, my previous post was poorly paragraphed. Stupid iPod Touch.

Hahaha; @Gavin’s Train/Back to the Future comment! :D
Like that’s never going to happen though; but you made me LOL there! :)

I’m sort of surprised that people want Ganondorf. I’ve heard so many people complain that he’s an overused villain.

Oh, and by the way, Back to the Future (and the sequels) is one of my favorite films. That’d be hilarious if the train was able to fly/time travel.

Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve dreamt about waking up on Christmas Day, opening a present, and it being a Hoverboard.

I love the BttF trilogy too :D

I wonder if Link’s train can make it up to 88 mph…

One – point – twenny’ one – jiggawatts!?!?

Maybe the train will have a Flux Capacitor :)
