No plans for Professor Layton on Wii
October 8th, 2009 Posted in DS, News, Wii, Written by Valay“This trilogy comes to a conclusion with Professor Layton and the Last Time Travel, but we will be releasing the first title of the new trilogy, Professor Layton and the Flute of Malevolent Destiny in Japan. The new trilogy will also be based around solving puzzles, but will also include greatly improved bonus modes so I think that players will be able to enjoy the games for even longer. We currently have no plans for a Wii release.” – Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino
Level 5 have their hands busy with the trilogy of prequels for the DS. But would any of you be interested in seeing the series on the Wii?

Yes, i would! Absolutely! the DS Games are great, and i think a Wii Version could work well!

Even if there plans for Professor Layton on the Wii, will it sell well compared to its DS games? The price of the game may be a consideration. However, having one on the Wii will allow the game to have better graphical capabilities.

I don’t have any concern about how well it would sell or not, but I would really like to see a trilogy of the Professor Layton Series, much in the vein of the Metroid Prime Trilogy.
I’ve never played these games because I don’t own a DS, but if the move to the Wii for the series would be done as well as the trauma center games were; then I’d be all in for sure.
