New Shantae game confirmed for DSi

Update: Here’s a few details from Nintendo Power (thanks Jake!)

- 3 episodic releases
- First one is coming this year
- DSiWare helped get the game approved since no publisher is needed
- Completely original
- Takes advantage of the DS tech.

Remember the exciting new DSiWare title Nintendo Power teased in its most recent issue? Well, it’s pretty safe to say at this point that it’s a new Shantae game. Hidden in Nintendo’s release schedule is Shantae: Risky’s Revenge, from WayForward, coming in Q4. Even better, the title is confirmed for the DSi. We’ll have to wait for details from Nintendo Power to see what the game is all about. However, just knowing that a new Shantae game is on the way brings a smile to my face.
