Capcom to reveal “several” games at TGS 2009

August 26th, 2009 Posted in General Nintendo, News, Written by Valay

“Hard at work on Tokyo Game Show plans. Several new games to be announced in Japan, lots of new content for LP2, TvC, DR2. Exciting!” – Capcom’s official Twitter page

Of course, we don’t know if any of the announcements will be Nintendo-related, but we at we’ll finally see which secret characters are making it into the North American release of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. And hey, wouldn’t it be great if one of the titles was that “Okamiden” sequel?

It’d be great if we saw Okamiden, especially if it’s planned as a ground-up Wii title, seeing as it’d make no sense to put it anywhere else. But considering how recent the trademark is, I’m not gonna hold my breath.

As for Sengoku Basara 3, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a first trailer for that, seeing as we’ve already seen Famitsu scans, so it’s obviously been in development for a while and looks likely to come west, Capcom USA having registered the Sengoku Basara trademark.
