Rumor: Modern Warfare 2 to release on Wii after all

A possible release for Modern Warfare 2 on Wii wasn’t looking too promising after it was noticed that the game was missing from both an online retail listing and was absent from the title’s official website. However, Spanish website Revogamer claims that the game can still be expected. In spite of the fact that Activision has yet to provide an official confirmation, the site has apparently learned that a Wii edition is in the works. We’ll see if this pans out in due time, but until then, consider this a rumor.

    I hope so much that this turns out to be true! I don’t want to have to spend $250 on a 360 plus Xbox Live fees.

    Oh there’s no doubt that it would sell at least a million copies on Wii seeing as WaW already has. It’ll probably sell even better if it has all the features of the other versions.

    i have a 360 and all the best games, but I never play it. I think I put two hours into it. I cant stand using a controller to try and shoot. I play my wii 2 hours every day.

    Eh.. The fun of Modern Warfare is the online. Don’t count on too much from Wii online.

    Oh, you’ve played it? Even if you have, I guarantee it’s nothing like Modern Warfare online. Nothing. I haven’t played it, but I have a Wii and online is so frustrating, they need to do away with friend codes and get the lag down and the amount of players on one server up.

    Wow will that might have been the dumbest comment i’ve heard in awhile. Media literate? ive seen sites post garbage much worse than this, besides they said this is a rumor, dont take it too seriously anyway
