Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles heading to Wii

Update 2: Added the scan from Famitsu.

Update: Looks this this is confirmed. Scans show that the game is in the index of Famitsu.

The latest edition of Famitsu apparently has information on Biohazard: Dark Side Chronicles for Wii. This would be a sequel to the already released Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

    I would pick it up… I kinda liked the first one. Nothing compared to, like, RE4 or anything, but good none the less!

    And if this doesn’t sell Capcom’s gonna baawww at the fact that their hardcore attempts are working.

    I’m sorry but Sega, Bamco, and Marvelous are the company’s I’ll support because I actually like their games and their attempts at the Wii.

    They’ll probly hold off on RE6 till 5’s numbers come back. They’ve moved through how many copies of the re-re-release of RE4 and Umbrella Chronicles. Love it or hate it Resident Evil’s a proven franchise on Wii and if this new one moves another million or so units they very well could put 6 on Wii.

    No hate for PS3 or 360 intended, but isn’t 5 kind of….underwhelming? Just like 4 but better graphics and some co-op. I dunno. I was just hoping for something a little different. I’d like it to be scary again. Even if it’s in the jump out and yell “Boo!” kinda way.

    Yea it seems 5 is more run and gun, but it does make the series go full circle, with it being in Africa, and Billy from 0 was charged with slaughtering 23 innocent people from Africa, as I’m sure we all know wasn’t true,just a cover up, so it makes the story continue !

    omg!! at least make a game using the re4 wii edition engine. umbrella chronicles wasnt so well recieved in terms of reviews as compared to re4 wii edition. capcom u have pissed me off again!! i dont have a wii yet and i thought this game which would make wii owners ‘happy’ would tempt me into buying it. unfortunately another point and shoot game is not so appealing

    It should be pretty much a remake of RE2. Just look at the page: Leon and Claire are there.

    I can`t read the smaller letters, but the ones on top are about a viral threat to Raccoon City in september 29, 1998.

    So I guess we know what to expect, but I`m still getting it, it should be fun.

    I thought Chronicles wasn´t really good,but Re4 on the Wii is amazing!

    Why can´t Capcom do an exclusive Wii RE story like based on RE5?

    That is what we all REALLY want!

    Yes thats exactly what I think is going on with the new game, it will have to tie in with him, “they” killed those Africans and blamed it on him, my thinking is they were the first infected, they told Billy to kill them he refused, they set him up and thats his situation, now there are in Africe so, its time to tie up that last loose knot :)
